Kristina has been a tech investor for many years and in recent years she has focused on strategic fintech investments to drive SEB’s business development and customer offering forward. She has invested in everything from real-time accounting and ERP-based financing for the SME segment, trade finance on the blockchain and 3D optimization software used within game production.

Prior to the investment trajectory, she accumulated knowledge and experience in business development, internationalization of financial companies and sales of financial services in various roles at SEB.

Fintech innovators are driving a lot of success in Nordics. After all, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Icelandic FinTech companies have together raised over $2.7bn since 2014, according to FinTech Global data. Sweden has picked up over 79.1% of that investment, followed by Denmark, which attracted 10.3%. Finnish FinTech firms raised 5.7%, Norwegian ones 3.9% and Icelandic enterprises 1%. What is the secret?
