Sara joined Trustly in 2012 as Chief Legal Officer and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2018. Prior to joining Trustly, she was a Senior Associate at Swedish law firm Delphi, focusing on M&A, commercial contracts.

From 2004 and 2005 Sara was a law clerk at the District Court of Stockholm. Sara holds a Master of Law and has also served at the District Court of Stockholm. In 2017, she was recognized by Innovate Finance on its ‘Women in Fintech Powerlist’.

In the next few years, there are probably be changes to the payment infrastructure. We see P27 replacing much of Clearing and Riksbanken is planning to implement TIPS for realtime settlement. On top, if this PSD2 is going to be rolled out. In the next 2-3 years, we are facing a totally new market with instant payment between account and probably cross currencies. What will this mean for consumers, corporations, banks, payment providers, central bank and authorities?
