Yina is an Investment Analyst in OpenOcean. Before Open Ocean, Yina was working as a Growth Manager in an AI-learning startup, leading the marketing automation and other growth projects to drive retention and monetization. Before that, she founded and ran a startup to improve the engagement of rehabilitation training using Virtual Reality technology.

She holds a master degree in Computer Science from Helsinki University, with a specialization in Machine Learning. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor in Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, from Xidian University (China) and received a scholarship as a top performer of the academic year.

Fintech innovators are driving a lot of success in Nordics. After all, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Icelandic FinTech companies have together raised over $2.7bn since 2014, according to FinTech Global data. Sweden has picked up over 79.1% of that investment, followed by Denmark, which attracted 10.3%. Finnish FinTech firms raised 5.7%, Norwegian ones 3.9% and Icelandic enterprises 1%. What is the secret?
