Mats Persson Bergius

Keynote speaker Mats Persson Bergius is Chairman of the Swedish Fintech Association and General Manager in Sweden and Norway for the neobank Lunar. Mats will present SweFinTech's Fintech Report 2024 and then moderate a panel with industry experts that will comment the report during the Regulatory track, on February 14th. Mats was elected Chairman for SweFinTech in 2023 but has a long carrier in the fintech space. Over the last 3 years, Mats has successfully scaled Lunar’s entry into the Swedish market, growing revenue by 4 times and the customer base by 10 times. Lunar primarily aims to democratize the power of money and change the way we all bank, pay and invest. Before his time at Lunar, Mats worked for over 15 years at American Express, in a number of managerial and directorial roles, and ultimately as the VP Nordic Consumer Cards.
